4.
Writing an Offer. When you’ve
found a home you’re interested in,
your Realtor® will help write a purchase
offer. Real estate agents compile sales
data on homes comparable to your desired
property to ensure that the offer you make
reflects the sales prices of similar homes
in a specific area. The Wagenbrenner Company
uses written purchase contracts provided
by the Columbus Bar Association.
5. After Acceptance.
The homebuyer should formally apply for
financing through his or her lending professional
once the purchase offer has been accepted
by the seller.
6. Negotiating
Contract Contingencies. Realtors®
help make sure all of the items in a purchase
contract are adhered to. Purchase contracts
often contain “contingencies”
based on financing and inspections. Realtors®
work with lenders to ensure that your loan
process runs smoothly. In addition, your
Realtor® will help to schedule all inspections
and negotiate any issues that may arise.
